The Bach Museum is situated right next to St. Thomas Church and was re-opened in 2010. It describes live and work of the world-famous composer and former St. Thomas choirmaster Johann Sebastian Bach and since the new renovations it is an interactive centre for visitors and music fans. Besides real treasures such as original letter written by Bach, relicts from his grave or property of the Bach family, you can play on baroque instruments or follow Bach’s footprints through the city on a medial city map.
You have free entry every first Tuesday.
