Old Town Hall

The old Town Hall was built in the 14th century in renaissance style and was placed right at market square. Today the building is not used as a town hall anymore but rather for representation, for special occasions and as the museum of the history of Leipzig. You can have a little round tour and see the museum, the great ballroom, the treasury, the baroque room and the old council parlour. In advent the town hall serves as a romantic setting for the Christmas market.
